My mother Vaisa Ilaoa is pictured above holding the newest addition to my family, Sariah. She is currently about 5-months post-chemo, and she and I were very happy that she was able to see my youngest and newest addition back in September.

Cooling Cancer is featured in the Fall 2017 Innovations newsletter which is a community publication of the University of Hawaii Cancer Center, produced with support from the Friends of University of Hawaii Cancer Center. To date, Cooling Cancer has raised $210,000 for cancer research through our annual golf tournament. The 2018 tournament is just around the corner and will be held on Friday, August 31, 2018 at Hoakalei Country Club. The 2018 event will be one of the first if not the first golf tournaments at Hoakalei that will use the new clubhouse which is now under construction.
